About the Role
Key Responsibilities include:
Work with a wide variety of processes across the organization in both quality and environmental management systems and operations and work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of applicable ISO 9001/IATF 16949/ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Managements Systems at all company divisions.
Participate in the development of the annual Internal Audit Plan including the scheduling of internal audits.
Perform internal audits (ISO 9001/IATF 16949/ISO 14001) at all plant locations as scheduled, and complete related functions including internal audit reporting and corrective action follow up as required.
Report on internal audit completion status to the QMS/EMS Coordinator to ensure that each facility is effectively engaged in all aspects of internal auditing.
Participate in Customer-specific directed audits (e.g. CQI, BIQS, QAV) and perform audit activities as directed by the Quality Systems Manager.
Support plant preparedness for all external third-party audits (registrar) and attend assessment events as directed.
Support second-party audits (supplier) and participate in audit activities as directed by the Quality Systems Manager.
Promote process ownership within a team environment in all areas affecting the Quality and Environmental Management Systems including communication of ISO/IATF Management System requirements.
Encourage continual improvement activities in relation to
Management System development.
Complete any other auditing related duties as assigned.
