About the Role


· To schedule the Molding presses based on required demand

· To schedule the assembly lines based on required demand

· Translate customer requirements to production plans to ensure capacity and timing to meet customer requirements

· Plans and prepares Master Plant Schedule that instructs production and maintenance of all requirements, job changes and priorities while minimizing mold set-ups and maximizing machine and peripheral equipment utilizations.

· Verifies material and packaging availability

· Communicates frequently with appropriate Production and Customer Service personnel to ensure the accuracy of the Master Plant Schedule

· Communicates with Account Managers and Program Management with any problems and/or issues with meeting customer demands

· Work material planners to ensure that painted parts are available to meet paint vendors schedule

· Investigate inventory discrepancies and reporting issues for root cause analysis and corrective action

· Work with Program Managers to coordinate tryouts for new programs and engineering changes

· Reviews completed jobs for manufacturing variances

· Review customer forecast and weekly releases

· Maintain and update capacity plan

· Support bank build needs

· Review packaging on hand

· Maintain 24 hour hotline (on call support)

· Generate reports as required

· Cycle count as required

· Participate in physical inventory functions

· Performing all other duties as assigned by management
