About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the Production Manager will be responsible for:

· Setting and monitoring production performance standards in their assigned area of the facility (cereal making/filling and cold storage)

· Ensuring downtime tracking is being reported accurately as a means to understand impact of losses, emerging/trending issues and to help identify root cause and/or corrective actions

· Ensuring HCC site operational goals are met, including Right First Time, Spoilage/MUDA, HACCP Compliance, GMP Compliance and Sanitation

· Assisting with the development of work procedures, business processes and various continuous improvement projects as required

· Ensuring safety policies, quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed

Preferred qualifications:

· Post-Secondary degree/diploma in Food Science, Manufacturing, or related discipline

· 3-5 years operations/production manager experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing an asset)

· Exceptional time management skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Willingness to work different shifts and overtime as required
