About the Role

Responsibilities:

  • Planning, coordination and management of purchasing topics within projects in coordination with all functions involved according to the Procurement, Development and EMS process

  • Initiation and control of the RFQ process, BOM preparation and calculation,

  • Ensure the Purchasing Data Management in IFS

  • Set up of the initial orders for samples and PPAP-Parts

  • Issues all purchase orders for equipment and services as a backup for the plant buyer

Your Profile:

  • Degree or equivalent in a related field

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Purchasing, ideally in the Automotive Sector and/or in the Electronic Manufacturing Industry

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in a global environment as well as analytical thinking

  • Good technical knowledge

  • Good knowledge of purchasing, negotiation, commercial understanding and cost breakdown

  • Commercial and financial awareness with a full understanding of how failure impacts the production, manufacture and customer order fulfilment

  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks and achieve set targets

  • Team-oriented and used to work independent

  • Excellent computer skills, MS Office, ERP Systems
