About the Role
Your Role & Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Manager is part of a team of managers to support all production functions, reporting to the Plant Manager.
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for:
Overall production in the facility, which runs on a 3 shift basis
Work assignments of the Production Supervisory Team
Meeting the customer's quality and delivery requirements
Working closely with the technical engineering and support teams for current production and future business
Teamwork with all internal departments is also essential to succeed
Customer contact is required for new program launches and current production issues.
Your Experience and Education
Preferred College Diploma / University Degree or equivalent of experience
Clearly demonstrated leadership ability
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Understanding of Automotive Quality Systems & requirements
High degree of flexibility & availability (in work assignments and hours of work)
Working knowledge of Health & Safety Requirements
Must be familiar with Plastic Injection Molding Processes
Your Skills and Abilities
Dynamic communication
Fluency in English is mandatory
Highly organized and possess good decision-making skills
Must have demonstrable technical presentation skills
Superb computer literacy, including MS Office
Willingness and ability to travel as necessary
Working knowledge of IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001 standards, as applicable to the position.
