About the Role
To support and maintain the site manufacturing process-related equipment. Responsible for overall site maintenance and preventive maintenance. Contributes and adheres to safety, environmental, quality of the corporations, division and location.
Other responsibilities include:
Consolidate all plant maintenance leads and input them into a maintenance plan
Prioritize projects into the maintenance plan
Ensure availability of resources (skilled trades and/or contractors) and parts
Assign work orders, track and report performance, and develop and maintain a tracking system
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Vocational or college training/certificate/degree/license or equivalent is required
Maintain Preventative/Predictive Maintenance Process
Ensure availability of spare parts in plant
Perform any other duties that may be assigned
Experience in manufacturing maintenance in a process industrial environment
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
This position will involve some weekend and on-call hours
Liaison with outside contractors and carry out Site safety orientations, issue safe work permits, fill out Pre-task plans and Job hazard assessments
