Operate machinery and/or equipment to produce quality parts per customer specifications.
Able to read and interpret procedures, drawings and calibrated equipment
Responsible to pack extruded aluminum into bundles by confirming that weights and counts are accurate.
Inspect for material defects before packing. Ensure packaging is neat and as per the work order, Secure material by using tape of banding.
Notify Supervisor if products are not according to the specification.
Ensure material is packed in order of priority according to shipping dates.
Maintain a clean work station at all times.
Print labels from system.
Maintain a good attendance record
Follow all processes, policies and procedures to account for materials, finished goods and quality system requirements.
Job Requirements:
Ability to work 12 hours shifts.
Standing for long periods of time
You must have reliable transportation (no bus route available)
Must be available for day shift and night shift
Personable with clear communication skills
Able to work well with others in a team environment
Computer literate
Good attitude required .Knowledge of machinery and ability to read drawings an asset.
