About the Role
Our automotive client is in search of HR Business Partner. The successful candidate will be responsible in providing business support to assigned locations including development and deployment of HR strategy which aligns to the short term and long term business goals.
Additional responsibilities include:
Responsibile for partnering with managers to develop talent, improve capabilities aligned with future business direction and implement structures and strategies to improve individual and organizational performance. This role will also support in implementing core HR processes including compensation, succession planning, and performance management
Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes
Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee issues; counseling employees and supervisors
Negotiates and maintains employee benefits programs and directing the processing of benefit claims
Maintains management guidelines by developing best practices, industry benchmarking, branding and preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must possess post-secondary University education
Must have experience in the Automotive Industry
Must possess a human resources related degree/major, or have completed or are working towards the completion of a recognized Professional Human Resources Designation with equivalent relevant work experience
International experience an asset
Minimum of 5 to 7 years in a senior human resources role
Working knowledge of Employment and Health & Safety legislation
Demonstrates a high level of professionalism, integrity, trust and composure and is seen as approachable by all levels of the organization
Excellent judgment and timely decision making and problem solving skills
Ability to provide guidance and coaching, discipline to all levels of employees within the plan
